Halo 2's ODST design is awesome because of its visor shape, but 3 really gave the armour its iconic status in the Halo fandom, so much so that future redesigns would use 3's design as the basis for them. Reach didn't drastically alter the ODST armour, but Halo 4's design messed with the visor and I didn't like how much bigger/rounder it became. Halo 5's Helljumper MJOLNIR was pretty damn cool, but the same couldn't be said for the Nightfall's lack of chin.
